When it comes to the available genuine leather RFID blocking wallets on the market, Hammer Anvil’s design comes with clear strengths. These types of wallets were designed to stop radio signals from reaching the chip of RFID credit cards’, so people don’t have to worry about tech-savvy criminals.

In addition to the basic features, this wallet comes with a minimalistic aesthetic design, which is not necessarily a bad thing.Although one could argue these aspects are almost entirely subjective. What is not subjective is the price to value ratio of a product, and that’s where this wallet does quite well.

The compact design offers some basic advantages like the relatively small size, thinness, and good compartment placement. The card slots are in the right place. If you are right-handed, you will almost certainly find them comfortable.

Since the wallet is fairly thin even when it is full, you can put it in your front pocket, which is another aspect that can come in handy. Some people like to carry their wallet around almost exclusively in their back pocket, but that is not nearly as safe as putting it in the front. Measuring4″ x 3 1/4″ x 1/8″, the Hammer RFID wallet is ideal for most.

Pros of Hammer Anvil

  • Anti-Breach Technology: Hammer Anvil has delivered a nice accessory for the battle against identity thieves. Some criminals don’t just want your money, but access to virtually everything you own, including what’s probably the most valuable, your identity. Guarding your credit card details is a good step in the right direction, and just because there is danger, you should not give up the convenience of one-touch payments.
  • Spacious: Although with its six card capacity, the Hammer is not as big as some other wallets in its price range it still offers plenty of space. In addition to the six available slots for credit cards, it features a larger pocket for a bigger card, money, or receipts.
  • Easy to Get the Cash Out: Since this is not a foldable design and the placement of the center slot is basically perfect in terms of function and accessibility, if you need cash, you will find it very easy to take it out and put back. The compact design can take up to 10-12 bills without becoming bulky.

  • The Stitching Sometimes Gives Out: This is a common problem with leather wallets, even the ones that cannot be folded. With prolonged use, the stitching sometimes gives out, and from that point on, the wallet loses some of its value. With gooduser habits, this shouldn’t be a problem, at least for a while.
  • The Grey Version is Not Really Grey: If you order the grey version of the wallet, expect a color that is somewhere between grey and brown, like someone mixed them and the end-result was a color that is neither.
  • Loses Its Shape: The wallet is genuine leather, but at that low price, no one can expect top quality. If you stuff the wallet early into its lifecycle, you may see that it changes its shape, and remains wider than it should, even when you have fewer items in it.

The Hammer Anvil RFID wallet has a nice little compact design and does its job very well. In terms of size, it is a nice compromise between a large and small wallet, which means that even though it is a men’s wallet, women may find it intriguing as well.

It doesn’t have a colorful design, in fact, quite the opposite, but it is elegant in its simplicity and definitely above average aesthetically. The logo looks good, and the overall visual design is one of the best. It can hold six cards, which may not be as many as some of the other RFID wallets on the market, but should be enough for most folks.

The RFID blocking works well, in some rare cases radio waves go through, but mostly for access badges and systems that use similar technology. These usually operate at different wavelengths than RFID credit cards. Safety is obviously the most important feature for this wallet, and for the most part, it does an excellent job.

If you use it to protect your cards and identity, you’ve taken a tremendous step in the right direction. Overall, the Hammer Anvil RFID wallet is an excellent choice, if you don’t have a problem with a minimalistic design, and deceptive colors.
